Paulina's Favorite Summer Memory
My favorite summer memory so far is my first weekend away...I went to Cape Cod with my friend Joline. We had a lot of fun. We left on Friday night and watched Tooth Fairy 2 on the ride. We had the whole basement apartment to ourselves! Saturday went to the beach until lunch time then we went back to the house and swam in the pool until dinner time. We went to Friendly's for dinner and we got a sandcastle sundae with blue marshmallow . It came in a sandcastle container and the spoon was a shovel! We went home and got to swim again at night in the pool, very awesome! On Sunday we went back to the beach and also to an inflatable waterpark that was super cool. I never saw or did anything like that before! We also went to Pirate's Cove to mini golf. Afterward we went to the beach until it started to hail. It came down pretty hard on us, it hurt and we had to grab our stuff and run to the car.
My first weekend away from home was very memorable and I got to experience a lot of first that weekend. I can't wait to do it again!
Don’t let your empty wallet stop you from taking the trip of a lifetime. Just remember: with the right attitude, the best things in life can come pretty cheap.
