Long Term Care: Lunch & Learn courtesy of Statera Financial
The number one concern for people who are about to reach retirement is “How am I going to pay for my retirement?” The number one expense in retirement is Health Care. Medicare will cover to a point but what should you do now to prepare for the possibility of needing custodial care or long term care services? Many factors come into play in the decision making process. Married or single? Male or female? Have children to care for you? Have ability to separate assets from your retirement assets to use for care? Currently in good health? Have longevity in your family? Want to leave a legacy? Want to have options for selecting the type and place of care? If you are in your 40's, 50's or 60's and haven't done any planning or just want to learn more about the subject, then this is the class for you.

BIO:
What separates Statera Financial from other financial planning firms is our focus on strategies that are designed to maximize spendable income during retirement. We do this through client-focused retirement income strategies, which include maximizing Social Security, minimizing tax liabilities in retirement, and utilizing cost-effective healthcare options in conjunction with Medicare. When asked, Financial Advisor Dave Wiech, told us “Our client’s primary concerns are running out of money and paying for healthcare in retirement. It is not just about your investments and rate of return, it’s more about how much income you can generate for yourself in retirement”. Dave Moses adds, “Due to longer life expectancy, we now have to plan for 30, 35 and even 40 years in retirement.”
Statera Financial is located on Route 1 in Foxboro. Dave and Dave can be found locally doing financial seminars at various senior living and adult education facilities as well as at the Tri-Town Chamber office, where they are active members. Statera Financial was recently recognized as a 2017 Reader’s Choice award winner. Dave Wiech adds one more thought, “It’s never too early or too late to start planning.”
